NADBE's Have Resource for Promoting Their Businesses Native American DBEs in construction and trades in Wisconsin can now get help developing a business profile to communicate key information about their businesses to prime contractors. The American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin (AICCW) has created a standardized template that businesses can use to create their own business profile. According to AICCW Executive Director Craig Anderson, the goal is to bring visibility and credibility to NADBE construction and trade businesses. He noted that this is one element of the American Indian Business Capacity Building Project. While the profile document is limited to two pages, a lot of information can be packed into that space, Anderson said. Businesses complete a 15-component questionnaire and then send it in to the AICCW. Then the business can select, online, one of six page layout designs and one of several color schemes. Little Redfeather Design will compile all the data and photos into the selected layout, and then the business can have it printed for its own use. For additional information, or to ask questions, contact AICCW Assistant Director Gary Mejchar, at (414) 604-2044 or go to the Web site. |
