Approximately 250 DBE firms, prime contractors, transportation experts, practitioners and administrators representing government and industry from throughout the state gathered in Waukesha on December 12, 2008 to participate in the 2008 WisDOT DBE 23rd Annual Workshop and Secretary's Awards Program. I-94 North-South Freeway Project update The I-94 North-South Corridor project calls for a total investment of $1.9 billion to rebuild, redesign and expand the freeway from the Illinois state line north to the Mitchell Interchange area in Milwaukee by the end of 2016. Smith worked in the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Support Services Office for 23 years. Her tenure started with the opening of the WisDOT DBE Supportive Services in Milwaukee in 1985. (more...) Zoo Interchange Study update The Zoo Interchange Team has met with city, county and regional governments, with potentially impacted property owners, coordinated with utilities and other stakeholders in the area.
