Special letting dates for Recovery Act projects
All normal prequalification and other established procedures and deadlines apply to the economic recovery projects. Check the department’s Highway Construction Contract Information Web for advertisements and further details on the letting schedules. Advertisements for the June 23 letting are now posted online. Bids received in the April 28 Recovery Act letting came in 7.2% lower than expected for a savings of nearly $9 million. The state and local projects bid in April totaled $114,649,163. has established special letting dates for projects being funded through
the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Letting dates include April
28, May 27, June 23 and July 28.
