Deputy Secretary Ruben Anthony Jr. addresses TrANS grads

2009 TrANS graduatesWisDOT Deputy Secretary Ruben Anthony Jr. was in Pleasant Prairie on September 11 to address about 14 graduates of the 2009 Kenosha TrANS class. Thanks to a public-private partnership through WisDOT, the Transportation Alliance for New Solutions program has been extremely successful in providing disadvantaged workers with the basic skills needed to enter the construction industry. "Your training through the TrANS program will serve as a solid foundation to help you enter the construction business," Anthony told the graduates. "But education should be an ongoing process. If you continue to prepare yourself and seek opportunities, success is sure to follow."
