Zoo Interchange update The Zoo Interchange study team
conducted a public hearing in June 2009 to solicit comments on the Draft
Environmental Impact Statement. The comment period for the DEIS was open
until August 10 to allow the public and local communities ample time
to consider the study information. The hearing was well attended and the
team received over 300 written and oral
comments. The comments from the public will be detailed in the Final
Environmental Impact Statement and will help shape the project in years
to come. The schedule for the remainder of the Zoo Interchange study and the upcoming phases of engineering and design work will be released in future Zoo Interchange project communications. For more information, please check www.sefreeways.org. |
