US 41 Corridor Outreach Office opens 

Inside an office building on Green Bay's west side, WisDOT is breaking new ground as it forges a first-time partnership with the Oneida Nation in creating a satellite office dedicated to reaching out to DBE firms. (more...)


I-94 contractors' workshop draws a crowd

The I-94 North-South Corridor project hosted a contractors' workshop on October 1 in Milwaukee. A large crowd of about 120 people representing more than 40 different contractors attended the event to review preliminary plans and schedules for 2009 and 2010 on the project. (more...)

WisDOT Holds Second Annual Tribal Transportation Conference

The Second Annual Tribal Transportation Conference was held this year on November 6 and 7, at the Radisson Hotel and Convention Center, Green Bay. The conference, called "Building Partnerships," provided an outstanding opportunity for state, tribal, and federal professionals to increase their knowledge of the government-to-government relationship between tribes of Wisconsin and WisDOT.  (more...)


23rd Annual DBE Workshop and Secretary's Awards Program

The 23rd Annual DBE Workshop and Secretary's Awards Program will be held at the Country Springs Hotel in Waukesha on Dec. 12. This event provides an entire day of opportunities to establish contacts to build strong working relationships within the industry, learn about current and future contracts, become more familiar with how WisDOT does business and hear from agency and organization representatives on mutual goals and objectives.
