Roadway design files (RDF) - Civil 3D file descriptions

General instructions for Civil 3D 2012, Windows 7, 64-bit

• Each self-extracting compressed file contains one or more standard roadway design Civil 3D data files.
• .EXE files will self-extract and copy content to default locations onto the local PC. Detailed instructions describing content can be found in ftp://ftp.dot.wi.gov/dtsd/bpd/methods/civil3d-2012-win7-64/readme.txt
• Extracted files intended for use in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 on Windows 7, 64-bit.
• Specific functionality may be lost when working with different software versions/operating system.

Note - Files must be located in the exact directories listed below to be used by Civil 3D.

Files are intended for use in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012. Install location values surrounded by '%' indicate a Windows system variable.

• Specific functionality may be lost when working with different software versions/operating system.

Files are intended for use in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012. Install location values surrounded by '%' indicate a Windows system variable. Some install locations will need to be different for Windows 7.
