The Wisconsin Department of Transportation publishes dozens of informative brochures, leaflets, handbooks and posters, as well as safety-oriented novelties such as stickers and book covers.

Topics include:

  • Alcohol and other drugs
  • Bicycle, pedestrian and school bus safety
  • Motorcycles
  • Railroads
  • Seat belts
  • and a variety of other safety subjects

Transportation safety films and videos

The Safety Films and Video Catalog lists and describes the films and videos that are available from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Traffic Safety Film Library.  Topics include:

  • Alcohol/drugs and driving
  • Bicycle safety
  • General driver education
  • Emergency medical services
  • Motorcycle safety
  • Occupant protection
  • Pedestrian safety 
  • School bus safety
  • Winter driving

These films are available for loan to individuals and organizations at no charge except for return postage. To submit your film order send in the Transportation Safety Films Request.
