Validation stickers

Autos and light trailers; motor homes with personalized or special plates

Farm trucks and trailers

Heavy trailers, tractors and trucks

Light truck plates

Motorcycles, mopeds, and low speed vehicles

Motor buses, homes and RV trailers

No validation stickers

Registered gross weight

Light truck plates

Light truck plates also receive month and year stickers plus a weight sticker (see registered gross weight). Place the weight sticker to the left of the plate number; place the month sticker on in the lower left corner; place the year sticker in the lower right corner.

Personalized and special plates for trucks do not receive a weight sticker. All vehicles registered by gross weight must carry the certificate of registration at all times. The certificate of registration shows the registration type and gross weight.
