Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE)
ITE members are traffic engineers, transportation planners and other professionals who are responsible for meeting society's needs for safe and efficient surface transportation through planning, designing, implementing, operating and maintaining surface transportation systems worldwide. The site has resources on topics such as ITS, traffic calming, a directory of forensic experts, trip generation and parking, and road safety.

American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA)
ARTBA is the U.S. transportation construction industry’s representative in Washington, D.C. It advocates strong federal investment in the nation’s transportation infrastructure to meet public demand for safe and efficient travel and shipment of goods.  The site has government related news and links to industry sites.

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)
Wisconsin Section
ASCE is a focal point for the development and transfer of research results, and technical policy and managerial information in the field of civil engineering. The site has detailed information about the Society, industry related news, as well as a database of all of their publications back to 1973.

National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE)

NSPE is the national society of engineering professionals from all disciplines that promotes the ethical and competent practice of engineering, advocates licensure, and enhances the image and well-being of its members.  The site includes information on ethics and licensure and CADdetails.com, a searchable database of AutoCAD details, specifications, and product pictures.

American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC)
American Council of Engineering Companies of Wisconsin (ACEC WI)
ACEC is the largest national organization of engineers engaged in the practice of consulting engineering.  The site includes industry related news and legislative and regulatory initiatives. 

Wisconsin Transportation Builders Association (WTBA)
WTBA is a state-wide association of 300 companies that help build transportation infrastructure in Wisconsin.  The site has information about the Association and its activities.
