US DOT Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)
Wisconsin Division
The FHWA provides expertise, resources, and information to continually improve the quality of the nation's highway system and its intermodal connections. The site has full text of Administration publications, press releases, legislation and regulations, and information about its programs.

American Highway Users Alliance
The Highway Users Alliance provides resources about federal highway funding, mobility, safety, highway use taxation, environmental impact, so-called "smart" growth, tolling, and more.

National Highway Institute (NHI)
Develops and delivers training to accelerate implementation of research results. Includes the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) and other state and university partnerships.  The site includes information about publications, grants, and courses.

TRIP: The Road Information Program
TRIP is a nonprofit organization that promotes transportation policies which relieve traffic congestion, improve air quality, make highway travel safer and enhance economic productivity.  The site includes data and reports on traffic safety, traffic congestion, road and bridge conditions, growth, and air quality conditions at state and national levels.

Wisconsin County Highway Association (WCHA)
WCHA is an unincorporated, non-partisan association of county governments in the state of Wisconsin organized for the purpose of protecting and furthering the common interests of county governments in performing the governmental function of constructing and maintaining highways.  The site a directory of county highway commissioners and committees and position papers.
