The statistics on this page are of traffic fatalities occurring on public trafficways in Wisconsin reported to the DMV-Traffic Accident Section as of the date shown at the top of the page. A traffic fatality is reported when death occurs within 30 days (of the accident) as a result of injuries received in the accident.  The fatality reports are also arranged by Wisconsin county and by month:
