Tribal Transportation for Elders 

In the 2009-2011 Governor’s biennial budget, an appropriation was passed under Wis.Stat. 85.215 for a new grant program to fund Tribal Transportation for Elders . All federally recognized tribes or bands are eligible to receive these grant funds. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation, in collaboration with the Tribal Aging Units, developed an 85.215 grant application to distribute these funds.
