Construction to start on I-39/90, Dane County

Work is scheduled to begin Monday (September 12) on I-39/90 from County B to the US 12/18 interchange in Dane County. The project will consist of pavement repairs and install culvert liners.

I-39/90 will remain open to traffic during construction with daytime shoulder closures during working hours. Single-lane closures will occur during nighttime hours.

The project is scheduled for completion by November 15, 2011.

Motorists can use the state’s 511 Traveler Information System online or by dialing 511 on their phone for the most current information on lane closures, incidents, and road conditions.
