Public meeting for County I bridge reconstruction in Dane County

A public information meeting will occur on Wednesday, February 22 to discuss the reconstruction of the County I bridge over I-39/90/94 in Dane County. The meeting will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Town of Vienna Hall, 7161 County I, DeForest, WI 53532.

The proposed project will replace the existing County I bridge over I-39/90/94 and reconstruct those approaches. Additional improvements include widening County I to accommodate bicycles and a future sidewalk on the east side of the bridge.

Construction is currently scheduled for May 2013.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project.

Citizens who are deaf or hard of hearing and require an interpreter may request one by contacting Bill Strobel at least three working days prior to the meeting.
