Public meeting set for US 10 in Manitowoc County

Meeting to focus on US 10 pavement project
(Green Bay) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing a public information meeting for the upcoming US 10 pavement resurfacing project in the village of Reedsville from County W to the east village limits of Reedsville. The meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 8 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the village of Reedsville Municipal Building, 217 Menasha Street, Reedsville, WI. There will be a short presentation at 5:10 p.m. and the remainder of the meeting will follow an open house format.
Construction for US 10 is scheduled for 2013. The highway will be resurfaced from County W to the east village limits of Reedsville, including a deck overlay of the bridge over Mud Creek. No additional right of way will be required for the project.
US 10 through traffic will be detoured during construction within the village of Reedsville. Access will be maintained to local businesses and for emergency vehicles during construction. The detour for the project will be County W to County JJ, County JJ to County J, County J to US 10.
The public is encouraged to attend the March 8 public information meeting to provide input and ask questions concerning the project. Project displays and schedule information will be available.

The public meeting facility is handicapped accessible. People who are deaf or hard of hearing and require an interpreter should contact Matthew Haefs no later than three working days prior to the meeting.
