US 141 partially blocked near Wausaukee

Travel not advised in Marinette and Oconto counties

(Green Bay) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region is advising motorists that US 141 northbound between Finnel and Island Lake roads in near Wausaukee in Marinette County is currently blocked. Three semitrailers are stopped and traffic has backed up behind them. Law enforcement and emergency services are on the scene. A plow truck is currently working to clear the southbound lane. There have been no injuries reported at this location.

WisDOT does not know when the road will be fully cleared and motorists are strongly advised to avoid this area and seek alternate routes. Additionally, travel is currently not advised for Marinette and Oconto counties.
