Public hearing set for US 45 access project in Kenosha County

March 7, 2012

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is announcing a public hearing to discuss access along US 45 from the intersection of the Illinois state line north to the north county line.

When: March 12, 2012
Where: Kenosha County Center, 19600 75th Street, Bristol, Wisconsin.
Time: There will be an open house preceding the hearing from 6 to 7 p.m. where the project team is available to answer questions and discuss issues relating to the project. The public hearing portion is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

The purpose of the project is to document current access to US 45 from adjacent properties within the project limits. Anticipated development traffic on US 45 stimulates the need to document and maintain the existing direct access to US 45 in the project area.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, or would like more information, contact Sue Voight at (262) 548-8788. Written comments regarding the project can be mailed to WisDOT SE Region, 141 NW Barstow Street, P.O. Box 798, Waukesha WI 53187-0798. Citizens who are deaf or hard of hearing and require an interpreter may request one by contacting Sue Voight or Emlynn Grisar at least three days prior to the meeting.
