I-39 northbound lane closure scheduled in Marathon County tonight

Crews are planning a single lane closure on northbound I-39/US 51 between the Kowalski Road overpass and the Wisconsin River Bridge.

The lane closure is necessary for crews to complete surveying activities. Work is scheduled for 7 to 11:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 22.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and be alert for workers and slow moving vehicles.

The dates and times of the closures are subject to change based on weather conditions.
