Bridge sweeping, mobile lane closures scheduled in Marathon County this week

Motorists can expect to encounter single, daytime mobile lane closures on bridges along I-39, US 51, and WIS 29 in Marathon County this week. Work begins today (April 2).

The lane closures are necessary for crews to sweep the bridge decks. Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day Friday, April 6. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and be alert for slow moving vehicles.
