Iron County state highway weight restriction removal dates announced

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) North Central Region today announced the schedule for lifting the springtime posted road weight restrictions on the region’s state highways in Iron County.

Posted road weight restrictions on the following highways will be lifted on Monday, April 16, 2012:

• WIS 169, Iron County, from US 2 to the Ashland County line
• WIS 122, Iron County, from WIS 77 to the Michigan state line

Class II roadway weight restrictions are still in effect. Additional information and updates for weight limit restrictions can be found on the WisDOT Web site.
