Governor Walker approves US 10, US 45 improvements in Waupaca, Outagamie counties
April 16, 2012
As part of his efforts to create jobs and make sure Wisconsin is open for business, Governor Scott Walker recently signed a $194,000 contract to improve 37 structures located along US 10 and US 45 in Waupaca and Outagamie Counties. Work is currently scheduled to begin April 23 and is scheduled for completion in early June 2012.
Ram Construction Services of Michigan, Inc. is the prime contractor for the project. Crews will preserve the structures by sealing the decks.
Motorists can expect to encounter the following traffic impacts:
- Short-term single lane closures on US 10 from the Portage County line to the Outagamie County line
- One-week closure of the Churchill Street ramp to and from US 10 east
- Short-term single lane closures on WIS 22 north between the ramp terminals with US 10
- Short-term lane closures with flagging on US 45 from WIS 96 to WIS 54
One hundred percent of the project will be paid with state transportation funds.
