Bridge inspection planned on I-94 in Dunn County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will be conducting routine inspections and maintenance on the Red Cedar Bridge near Menomonie this week.

The inspections will require single lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, as well as a reduced speed limit of 55 miles per hour.

The eastbound bridge will be reduced to one lane from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and then crews will switch to the westbound bridge from noon to 3 p.m.

The rest area will also be closed during the inspection of the eastbound bridge.
