Governor Walker approves various bridge deck maintenance projects

Work taking place in Fond du Lac, Outagamie and Winnebago counties

(Green Bay) As part of his efforts to create jobs and make sure Wisconsin is open for business, Governor Scott Walker recently signed a $600 thousand contract for bridge deck sealing in Fond du Lac, Outagamie and Winnebago counties.

General contractor for the project is Radtke Contractors, Inc., Winneconne.

The project is set to begin Monday, May 14 and end by late July. The work is being done to help preserve the bridge decks. Traffic control will involve lane and shoulder closures. Motorists should stay alert and use caution when driving through these or any work zone.
