I-39 southbound rolling closure scheduled tomorrow morning

May 7, 2012

Early morning operation between Rothschild and Kronenwetter will reduce speeds to approximately 20 mph

Crews are planning to implement a rolling closure on southbound I-39 between the bridge over Business 51 (Rothschild) and the Maple Ridge Road interchange (Kronenwetter) on Tuesday, May 8 at 4 a.m.

During the closure, which is expected to last approximately 15 minutes, traffic speeds will be reduced to approximately 20 mph. Motorists are reminded to drive with caution in the work zone and be alert for slow moving vehicles.

The closure is necessary for crews to transport construction equipment across southbound I-39 and the southbound Maple Ridge Road exit ramp.

The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.
