Second public meeting for I-39/90 and WIS 11 (Racine Street) interchange project in Rock County

Selected alternative being presented at this meeting

A second public information meeting will occur on Wednesday, May 30 to present the preliminary plan for the selected alternative of the I-39/90 and WIS 11 (Racine Street) interchange near Janesville. The meeting will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the city of Janesville’s Municipal Building, Room 416 (fourth floor), 18 North Jackson Street, Janesville, WI 53545.

The selected alternative is a diamond interchange with roundabouts. This project is in the preliminary design stages, but has an accelerated schedule with final plans due in November 2012.

Construction is currently scheduled for 2013.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions regarding this project.

Citizens who are deaf or hard of hearing and require an interpreter may request one by contacting Jim Oettinger at least three working days prior to the meeting.
