May 31, 2012
County B interchange work set to begin Thursday, June 11
(Green Bay) As part of his efforts to create jobs and make sure Wisconsin is open for business, Governor Scott Walker recently signed a $196,000 contract to improve the US 41/County B interchange in Brown County. Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, June 11 and be completed by August.
The contractor for the project is RC Excavating, Suamico, WI.
Work includes lengthening of the County B on-ramp to southbound US 41.
The southbound on-ramp will remain closed throughout the project. There will also be occasional lane closures on US 41 during off-peak hours. Message boards and media announcements will precede these closures. Motorists are advised to use caution and remain alert when driving through this or any work zone.
