Governor Walker approves project at Boscobel Municipal Airport
June 1, 2012
Governor Scott Walker today announced a $172,864 project to improve pavements at the Boscobel Municipal Airport in Grant County.
Stacey Miller, airport engineering specialist with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), said the project involves the crack filling and seal coating of the airport’s runway, taxiway and apron pavement. This routine maintenance by the Bureau of Aeronautics extends the life of existing pavements to avoid costly reconstruction.
The project is scheduled to be completed in June.
