I-39/US 51 lane closures scheduled in Marathon County next week

Closures near Foxglove Road overpass will occur during off-peak hours

Crews are planning single lane closures on northbound and southbound I-39/US 51 between the Business 51 interchange (Cedar Creek) and the US 51/WIS 29 east interchange beginning Monday, June 18. To minimize impacts to motorists lane closures will occur during off peak hours.

The lane closures are necessary for crews to prep and stain the Foxglove Road overpass. Work is scheduled for completion by Friday, June 22.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and be alert for slow moving vehicles.

The work is subject to change based on weather conditions.
