Meeting scheduled for WIS 23/County Y interchange improvements

Work near village of Kohler set to begin in 2014
(Green Bay) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region at Green Bay is announcing a public information meeting for interchange improvements to the WIS 23 and County Y interchange in Sheboygan County. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kohler Village Hall, 319 Highland Drive, Kohler, WI.
This work is currently scheduled for construction in 2014. It includes replacing the pavement on all four ramps and portions of County Y adjacent to the interchange, replacing the County Y bridge deck and the addition of a dedicated right turn lane from northbound County Y to WIS 23 westbound.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input, and ask questions concerning the project. Maps showing the proposed improvements will be on display and WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
The Kohler Village Hall is wheelchair accessible.
