US 51 northbound lane closure in Lincoln County next week

Motorists can expect to encounter a daytime, single lane closure on northbound US 51 between Marathon/Lincoln County Line to the Lincoln County K interchange beginning Monday, July 9.

The closure is necessary for crews to perform preventative maintenance work to the asphalt surface. Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day Thursday, July 19. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.

Motorists should be alert for slow moving vehicles near the work zones.
