US 41 Project lane closures for August 13 – August 17

Traffic restrictions in Brown and Winnebago counties

(Green Bay) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region is announcing US 41 Project lane restrictions for August 13 – August 17 in Brown and Winnebago counties. In Brown County, significant travel delays expected on I-43 at the Leo Frigo Bridge, as traffic is reduced to a single lane in both directions over a 3.5-mile segment of the highway through November 2012. Motorists need to be aware of 11-foot wide lanes and reduced speed limits in both counties. WisDOT urges all motorists to use caution while traveling through any work zone. 

Winnebago County

WIS 26 – 9th Avenue

August 13:

• Full closure of northbound Koeller Street, between 9th Avenue and Osborn Avenue, Monday, August 13 from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. for storm sewer repair.

August 13 - 17:

• Various lanes of northbound Koeller Street, between 9th Avenue and Osborn Avenue, closed continuously Monday, August 13 through Friday, August 17 for concrete pavement repair.
• Right lane of southbound WIS 26, between Poberezny Road and the southbound US 41 off-ramp to WIS 26, closed continuously Monday, August 13 through Friday, August 17 for access to the work zone.

US 45 – Breezewood Lane

August 13 – August 17:

• Various lanes of north and southbound WIS 76, between Indian Point Road and Green Valley Road, and the US 41 off-ramps to WIS 76, closed Monday, August 13 through Friday, August 17 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for work structure work.

Brown County

Scheuring Road - Oneida Street

August 16 and 17:

• Various lanes of northbound US 41, between Scheuring Road and Hansen Road, closed Thursday, August 16 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Friday, August 17 from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. to allow access to the median work zone.

Mason Street

August 13 – August 15:

• Various lanes of north and southbound US 41, between Lombardi Avenue and I-43, closed Monday, August 13 through Wednesday, August 15 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for structure work and a traffic switch.

August 13 – August 17:

• Various lanes of east and westbound Mason Street, between Hinkle Street and Beaver Dam Drive, closed Monday, August 13 through Wednesday, August 15 and Friday, August 17 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for landscaping and signing.

WIS 29

August 14:

• Full closure of Packerland Drive, between WIS 29 and County RK, Tuesday, August 14 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. to accommodate sawing operations. 

August 14 and 15:

• Various lanes of westbound WIS 29, between Packerland Drive and County FF, closed Tuesday, August 14 from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Wednesday, August 15 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. In addition, various lanes on eastbound WIS 29 closed Tuesday, August 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. All closures are to allow access to the work zone.

Memorial Drive - Lineville Road

August 14 and 15:

• Various lanes of north and southbound US 41, between Memorial Drive and Lineville Road, closed Tuesday, August 14 and Wednesday, August 15 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. for demolition of the Lakeview Drive overpass.

  All lane restrictions and work operations are subject to change.
