US 10 lane closures, bridge inspections scheduled in Portage County

Motorists can expect to encounter eastbound and westbound lane closures on US 10 between Portage County E and the Wisconsin River beginning Monday, August 20.

The lane closures are necessary so crews can complete routine bridge inspections on the County E and Wisconsin River bridges.

Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day Tuesday, August 21.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and be alert for slow-moving vehicles.

The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.
