Governor Walker approves an $889,000 project at Baraboo-Wisconsin Dells Airport

Governor Scott Walker today announced an $889,000 project for pavement improvements at the Baraboo-Wisconsin Dells Airport.
Kim Kaarto, airport engineering specialist with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), said the taxiway reconstruction work will replace deteriorating pavements.
The project is scheduled to begin this summer.
Funding Breakdown
- State = $22,225
- City of Baraboo = $22,225
- Federal Aviation Administration = $844,550
Baraboo-Wisconsin Dells Airport is located three miles northwest of the city of Baraboo. It has two runways. The paved primary runway is 5,010 feet, while the turf runway is 2,700 feet.
