WIS 57 in Sheboygan County will be open for Labor Day Weekend

Construction will start again on September 4
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region is announcing WIS 57 from the Ozaukee/Sheboygan County line to the Manitowoc/Sheboygan County line will be completely open through the Labor Day holiday.
WisDOT Northeast Region Director Will Dorsey said, "We were able to modify our construction schedule to accommodate traffic associated with both the Labor Day holiday and the Sheboygan County Fair."
The road between WIS 23 and WIS 32 is opening on August 30. The stretch from WIS 23 to WIS 144 was closing on August 30 and will now close on Tuesday, September 4.
The 24-mile project includes culvert replacement, pavement repair, bridge rehabilitation and new left turn lanes at WIS 57 and County C. Cost is estimated at $1.6 million. It is scheduled to be completed in late October.
