WIS 54 lane closure scheduled in Wood County

Crews applying anti-skid treatment to Yellow River Bridge

Motorists can expect to encounter lane a closure on WIS 54 over the Yellow River in the town of Dexter, beginning on Monday, August 27.

The lane closure is necessary for crews to install an anti-skid treatment on the Yellow River bridge. Motorists can expect to encounter traffic signals and flagging operations.

Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day on Thursday, August 30.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and be alert for slow moving vehicles.

The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions and construction status.
