Meeting planned for I-43/WIS 29 connection in Brown County

Final two alternatives being presented to the public
(Green Bay) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing the second public information meeting to present the two preferred corridor alternatives for a study connecting I-43 to WIS 29 and County EA (Huron Road) in Brown County. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 11 at the Bellevue VFW Post 9677, 3323 Kewaunee Road, Bellevue, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. A short presentation is planned for 5:15 p.m.
The meeting will be held as an open house and persons interested in the project can attend at their convenience.
The purpose of the study is to identify an alternative that balances safety, mobility, and provides access for future land development. No construction is planned as part of this project.
The public in encouraged to attend, provide input and ask questions. Exhibits showing the proposed improvement alternatives will be on display and WisDOT staff will be available to discuss the study on an individual basis.

Written comments regarding the study can be mailed to WisDOT, 944 Vanderperren Way, Green Bay, WI 54304. There will be an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter present at the meeting. The Bellevue VFW Post 9677 is wheelchair accessible.
