WIS 29 lane closures in Marathon County

Motorists can expect to encounter short duration passing lane closures on WIS 29 between Business 51 (Rothschild) and Marathon County Q (Ringle), beginning Tuesday, September 4.

The closures are necessary for crews to complete median shoulder repair. Motorists are reminded to drive with caution in work zones and be alert for slow moving vehicles.

Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day Thursday, September 6. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions and construction status. For more information regarding traffic impacts in the North Central Region:
