US 18/WIS 89 intersection improvement projects underway, Jefferson County

Safety improvements to the US 18/WIS 89 intersections are underway. Work will extend the right turn lane at the west intersection, and reconstruct the east intersection.

US 18 will be kept open to traffic during construction. The WIS 89 west intersection is open. The WIS 89 east intersection is closed; a signed detour route is in place.

Work is scheduled for completion October 14.
