WisDOT schedules WIS 93 public information meeting

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) in  Eau Claire is conducting a public information meeting to discuss the reconstruction of WIS 93 in the city of Independence in Trempealeau County between A Street and Indee Boulevard.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 26 at the Independence City Hall, 23688 Adams Street. The informal open house meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.

The proposed project consists of reconstructing approximately 1.3 miles of WIS 93 between A Street and Indee Boulevard. Existing water and sewer facilities will be upgraded and the existing bridge replaced. This project is currently scheduled for construction during the 2014 construction season.

The highway will be detoured via WIS 95 to US 53 to US 10.
