Motorists can expect to encounter a single, daytime lane closure on southbound US 51 between the off-ramp to WIS 29 westbound (Exit 191A) and Stewart Avenue in Wausau beginning Monday, September 17.

The closure is necessary for crews to make guard rail repairs. Motorists are reminded to drive with caution as they approach the work zone.

Work is scheduled for completion before the end of the day on Thursday, September 20. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions and construction status.
