I-39 northbound on-ramp from Portage County HH scheduled to close next week

Motorists advised to plan ahead, allow more travel time to avoid delays

On Wednesday, October 3, crews plan to close the I-39 northbound on-ramp from Portage County HH (Plover/Stevens Point). The ramp closure is necessary for crews to complete pavement repair.

During the closure, motorists who want to travel northbound on I-39 from County HH will be detoured via County R (Brilowski Road) and US 10. To avoid delays, motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow for more travel time or take a different route.

Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day on Thursday, October 4. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions and construction status.
