I-39/US 51 southbound lane closure, speed limit reduction in Marquette County

Higher traffic volumes this weekend may result in delays during peak travel times, motorists advised to plan ahead

The southbound lane of I-39/US 51 between Marquette County D and the south Marquette/Columbia County line is reduced to one lane until Saturday, October 13 (including nights and weekends). Crews are resurfacing the highway and doing bridge deck overlays. The speed limit is reduced to 55 mph in the work zone.

The lane reduction, reduced speed limit and higher traffic volumes this weekend may result in delays during peak travel times. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow more travel time.
