US 41 Project lane closures for October 8 through October 12

Traffic restrictions in Brown and Winnebago counties

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing US 41 Project lane restrictions for October 8 through October 12 in Brown and Winnebago counties. Drivers should be aware of 11-foot wide lanes and reduced speed limits in both counties. WisDOT urges all motorists to use caution while traveling through any work zone.

US 41

Winnebago County
WIS 21 – Breezewood Lane
October 8 – 11
:

  • A single lane of northbound US 41, between WIS 21 and US 45, will close overnight Monday, October 8 through Thursday, October 11 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

October 10:

  • Various lanes of southbound US 41, between County GG and County Y, will close overnight Wednesday, October 10 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for electrical work.

Brown County
County EE (Grant Street)
October 9 and 10
:

  • Grant Street, between Lawrence Drive and Mid Valley Drive, will close overnight Tuesday, October 9 and Wednesday, October 10 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge demolition.

Scheuring Road – Oneida Street
October 8 - 12
:

  • Various lanes of southbound US 41, from Hansen Road to two miles south of Scheuring Road, will close overnight Monday, October 8 through Thursday, October 11 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Friday, October 12 from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. for median work.

Lombardi Avenue – I-43
October 8 - 12
:

  • Various lanes of north and southbound US 41, between Lombardi Avenue and I-43, will close overnight Monday, October 8 through Thursday, October 11 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Friday, October 12 from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. for setting temporary barrier wall and bridge work.

WIS 29
October 8 - 12
:

  • Various lanes of eastbound WIS 29, between County FF and Packerland Drive, will close Monday, October 8 through Thursday, October 11 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday, October 12 from 8 a.m. to noon. In addition, westbound WIS 29 will close Monday, October 8 through Thursday, October 11 from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday, October 12 from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Lakeview Drive bridge
October 8 - 12
:

  • Various lanes of north and southbound US 41, between I-43 and Lineville Road, will close overnight Monday, October 8 through Thursday, October 11 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Friday, October 12 from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. for demolition of the Lakeview Drive bridge over US 41.

I-43/Leo Frigo Memorial Bridge
Brown County

  • I-43 at the Leo Frigo Memorial Bridge is reduced to a single lane of traffic with speeds reduced to 55 mph in both directions over a 3.5-mile segment of the highway through November 2012. In addition, several ramp closures will occur next week. Expect significant travel delays.

October 10:

  • The northbound I-43 off-ramp and southbound I-43 on-ramp at Webster Avenue/Shore Drive will close Wednesday, October 10 from 6 p.m. to midnight for pavement marking.

October 11:

  • The northbound I-43 on-/off-ramps and southbound I-43 off-ramp at Atkinson Drive will close Thursday, October 11 from midnight to 6 a.m. and again in the evening from 6 p.m. to midnight for pavement marking.

All lane restrictions and work operations are subject to change.
