WIS 49 lane closure in Marathon County begins next week

October 12, 2012

Motorists can expect to encounter a lane closure on WIS 49 over the Little Wolf River in the township of Franzen (south of Galloway), beginning on Monday, October 15.

The lane closure is necessary for crews to complete bridge deck and railing repairs. The lane closure will require temporary traffic signals and flagging operations. Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day Friday, November 2.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone, be alert for slow moving vehicles, and allow extra travel time to avoid delays.
