Public meeting for Stage 2 of Verona Road (US 18/151) Project

Stage 2 extends from County PD (McKee Road) to Raymond Road
A public information meeting will occur on Tuesday, November 13 to discuss stage 2 of the Verona Road (US 18/151) Project in Dane County. The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cherokee Middle School Gymnasium, 4301 Cherokee Drive, Madison, WI 53711. A brief formal presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Stage 2 extends along Verona Road (US 18/151) from County PD (McKee Road) to Raymond Road and County PD between Hard Rock Road and Commerce Park Drive.
Proposed improvements for stage 2 include constructing a diamond interchange at Verona Road and County PD with Verona Road traffic over County PD. WisDOT is also reviewing alternatives for the Williamsburg Way and Verona Road (US 18/151) intersection.
Stage 2 construction is currently scheduled for 2017 to 2019.
The Cannonball/Military Ridge bicycle and pedestrian path at County PD (McKee Road) will be constructed in 2013 and 2014.
Exhibits from Stage 1 and Stage 2 will be on display. Stage 1 limits are between Raymond Road and the Beltline, and the Beltline between Gammon Road and Seminole Highway.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions regarding this project. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
