October 30, 2012
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is advising motorists that upcoming traffic changes are scheduled to begin Wednesday, October 31 as part of the $17 million project to improve the Leo Frigo Memorial Bridge and approximately 3.5 miles of I-43, from Irwin Avenue to Military Avenue, in Brown County.
October 31 – Week of November 12:
Traffic will be split along I-43 and shifted to the outside lanes in each
direction. Additionally, the I-43 southbound off-ramp to Webster Avenue will reopen. The
contractor will remove the concrete barrier wall from the northbound lanes and place the permanent
pavement markings.
Week of November 12:
I-43 will return to the normal traffic pattern with all four lanes of traffic open. All ramps
will also be reopened.
All lane restrictions, and work operations are weather-dependent and subject to change.
