Business 51 lane closure begins next week in Rothschild

Utility crews plan to close a single lane of Business 51 between Weston Avenue and Everest Avenue, in the village of Rothschild, at 6 a.m. on Monday, November 5.

The closure is necessary for Wisconsin Public Service to extend natural gas service to the Domtar Biomass plant.

During the closure, the roadway will be restricted to one northbound lane. Motorists can expect to encounter some delays during peak traffic hours and should allow more time for travel.

Work is currently scheduled for completion by the end of the day Friday, November 16. The schedule is subject to change based on weather and construction status.
