I-39 lane closure scheduled in Portage County next week

Crews are planning single lane closures on northbound and southbound I-39 between Portage County X and North Second Street (Stevens Point) beginning Wednesday, November 14.

The lane closures are necessary for crews to obtain pavement samples. Work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day Thursday, November 15. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions and construction status.
