Merrimac Ferry remains closed until further notice

The Merrimac Ferry along WIS 113 between Columbia and Sauk County remains closed until further notice. The ferry crossings are expected to resume when conditions allow for safe operation.

Flashing lights along local state highways are activated when the ferry is out of service. The lights are located at WIS 60 and I-90/94, WIS 19 and WIS 113, WIS 78 and WIS 113, WIS 78 and I-90/94 and at US 12 and County K.

Motorists are encouraged call 511 or log onto Wisconsin 511 online for the latest traffic updates.
